Functional Description:

Rain repellent gage is part of the rain repellent system for aircraft windshields. Operating pressure and rain repellent solution are supplied by a pressurized (95 psig) can attached to the inlet port (can adapter). The system is filled by depressing the bleed valve button until the float rises and disappears from view inside the top frame. The rain repellent gage outlet port is connected through tubing to nozzles located at the windshields. Ejection of rain repellent solution is controlled by a pilot-operated valve, located downstream from the outlet port. As the solution is depleted, the float descends
