Specific Usage Design:
Samples air continuously, which is automatically heated /if necessary/, filtered, drawn into the detector cell, where it passes through the electrolyte solution. If v or g agents are present, the galvanic voltage produced by the cell increases. The change is amplified by the electronic module which sounds the detector horn and/or activates a flashing light, applies power to the remote terminals and stops the pump motor. The horn will continue to sound and/or the light flash until the detector is reset or disconnected by the operator. The system is designed for manpack, fixed emplacement and vehicular use.
