As a apparatus will include; test cup, test cover and shutter, stirring device, heating source, ignition source device, automatic barometric pressure detector, thermal and ionization flash detection, forced air cooling, automatic calibration capability, and the following safety features: automatic gas source suppression at end of test and extinguished flame detection during test if gas ignition is used, overheat detection with auto shut off heater, auto fire detection system with external fire alarm connection, tester will have lcd monochrome display or equivalent, tester will be designed with an alphanumeric keyboard for data input to tester; tester will have automatic and manual capabilities, will be able to store of 300 test results, transfer data to a storage device via rs-232c cable and print test results with printer attached, tester will operate on 115v or 220v outlets
